The Condor Bush Knife is a unique design from world-renowned and award winning knife and tool designer Arlan D. Lothe. The design concept comes from ancient tools used in the South of Europe for generations, both on the farm and in the sporting fields. To this day a smaller version of this multi-functional tool is used by the Italian Boy Scouts; it is simply called the "Scout Knife".
Condor machetes are produced with pride in El Salvador and come razor sharp from the factory. After being wrapped in paper to prevent oxidation, they are placed in a cardboard sleeve for protection and ship individually in separate boxes.
The long straight blade can be used as a knife, hatchet, axe or cleaver. The hooked edge can be used as a brush hook and scythe for cutting many materials in and around a campsite. Needless to say the hook also provides an effective weapon. Ths blade will cut in both directions, swinging it right and left and up and down.
