Machetes for Landscaping

Every landscaper should have a few machetes in his tool arsenal. Power tools such as gas trimmers and chainsaws work great for large diameter branches, but nothing is as economical and efficicient for small branches, scrub, and tall grasses as the machete.

1. Trim hedges, bushes, and trees.

2. Clear underbrush to reduce risk of forest fire.

3. Remove vines from houses and trees.

4. Manually mow grass in hard to reach places.

5. Build and maintain hedges.

6. Create natural fences and trellises.

7. Clear vegetation from work areas or planned fence lines.
