Machete Specialists Response to COVID-19

Machete Specialists is considered an Essential Business. We are open and shipping as fast as we can!

COVID-19 has impacted nearly every person and business around the world. Machete Specialists is no exception. Order volume has increased dramatically and we’re doing everything possible to process and ship orders quickly. Additionally, we have been told that both UPS and USPS are extremely short staffed due to COVID-19 and that some facilities/hubs have to reject and reroute packages due to the situation.

To help serve Customers better and to ensure the health and safety of our Employees, here are some things we’ve done and some things we’d like you to know:

  1. Some of our suppliers already took months to get products to us. Those times are even longer now.
  2. Our shipping partners (UPS and USPS) are also swamped with orders and are taking longer than usual to deliver packages.
  3. We’ve stopped taking phone calls to redirect as many resources as possible to shipping orders.
  4. We’re still replying to emails unless they’re regarding product availability. The most accurate in stock information we have from our suppliers is on our product pages. If the status is Temporarily Unavailable or Out of Stock, we don’t have accurate delivery information.
  5. Our promotions relate to a specific amount of inventory at special prices to support them. Many high demand products in our flyers have already sold out. Since we don’t know when we’ll receive them again, we’re not allowing backorders on these products.

We’re doing our best to provide a clean, safe and healthy environment for our employees while providing the best customer service possible under these circumstances.
