Most items leave our facility within 48 business hours from when the order is placed. We ship Monday-Friday excluding US Federal Holidays. We ship via UPS Ground, UPS 3 Day Select, UPS Surepost, USPS Priority Mail International, and USPS Priority Mail. You may select your carrier preference during checkout, or select the Flat Rate option to get the cheapest available. If you choose the Flat Rate option, that means it will be shipped out via UPS Ground, UPS Surepost, or USPS Priority Mail depending on which is the better rate.
If you are needing to have your order shipped out via a specific carrier, please select that carrier. If you are wanting a specific carrier to ship your order, and if you are ordering more than one item, please email us what items you are wanting along with which carrier. Our system cannot accurately calculate the shipping cost when more than one item is ordered. It is something that we are constantly trying to solve, but in the meantime please email us a request for a quote and we’ll be happy to get that quote to you as fast as we can. What is UPS Surepost? UPS Surepost a shipping method provided by UPS working together with USPS. UPS will transport the package for the longest part of its trip to the destination city’s Post Office, then USPS will take it the rest of the way to the shipping address provided. It can take a couple days longer than UPS Ground, but still should arrive within the standard 5-7 business days.
Please be aware that UPS Ground and UPS 3-Day Select do not deliver to P.O. Boxes.

Welcome international customers! We do not require a minimum order for overseas orders. If you do not see your country in the drop-down menu of the shipping calculator located in the cart, that means either we can’t ship there or we haven’t done so before. Please feel free to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will be happy to see if we can ship to you.
Kindly note that the buyer is responsible for any possible additional charges related to customs clearances, fees to collect the item from your local post office, and for being aware of any laws governing the import and possession of machetes in his or her home country. If you choose not to pay the extra fees/duties that occur for you to obtain your order, any monetary losses accumulated against Machete Specialists will be taken out of any anticipated refund. For example: if you fail to pick up your order from the local post office, or refuse the order and it is sent back to us, we will refund you for the cost of the merchandise only, minus any initial and/or accrued shipping fees.
Machetes are classified as agricultural tools in MOST countries and are not subject to any special regulation. Some countries classify the machete as a knife that can be imported, but cannot be brandished or carried in public. A few countries classify the machete as a weapon and restrict its import entirely. Please consult your local laws regarding the ownership, transport, and possession of machetes before placing your order.

Some international orders may be eligible for a cheaper shipping option, USPS First-Class Mail International. Each country has it’s own length and/or weight limits as to what can be shipped via First Class International, so again, we are more than happy to run a quote for you to see if your order is eligible for this shipping method.
Not satisfied with your order? You may return any new, unused items sold by MacheteSpecialists.com within 60 days of delivery for a refund of the cost of merchandise only. All shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer when returning non-faulty products.

Items Damaged in Shipping
Please do not be alarmed if the shipping carton is damaged. This sometimes happens, but the tool inside is rarely damaged. Before refusing shipment, please inspect the tool and you will usually find it is in fine condition. If the tool is damaged, please email email@example.com and we will arrange for return and replacement.
